Which Corpoz class should you choose: Mindful Flow, Deep Control or something more intense?

Compare the six Corpoz Reformer formats by pace, intensity and experience, then choose a suitable session.
By Corpoz StudioPublished on

At Corpoz, Mindful Flow emphasises a gentle pace, Deep Control precision at moderate intensity, and Power Sculpt more dynamic movement. Spicy Burn and Cardio Boost are the most intense formats in the range. Prenatal is designed for pregnancy and requires a medical certificate. Choose according to your experience and the kind of session you want, without treating intensity as a measure of a class's value.

Mindful Flow or Deep Control for a first class?

Mindful Flow is a format to consider first if you want to discover the machine at the gentlest pace in the range. Deep Control may appeal if you enjoy taking time to understand support and precision while working at moderate intensity. The descriptions of both classes welcome all levels.

Your choice also depends on how comfortable you feel following instructions. If you want to ask plenty of questions about the settings, a private session may better suit that initial goal.

When should you consider Power Sculpt, Spicy Burn or Cardio Boost?

Power Sculpt suits a desire for a more dynamic session. Spicy Burn adds a sustained pace and a strong focus on control. Cardio Boost uses the jumpboard; its description identifies it as a format for intermediate and advanced participants.

Experience in another sport does not mean you already know the Reformer transitions. If the machine is new to you, ask the studio whether your preferred session is suitable for a first visit. You do not have to “work your way up” to the most intense class to enjoy your practice.

What about during pregnancy?

Do not choose a standard format simply because it sounds calm. Prenatal is dedicated to pregnancy, and Corpoz requires a medical certificate. Our prenatal guide explains what to check with the professional supporting your pregnancy and with the studio.

Three questions to help you choose your next session

What pace am I looking for?

A calm class to learn the basics, a precise session to work through an instruction, or a more energetic format? Describe the experience you want rather than an immediate change to your appearance.

How familiar am I with this machine?

Previous mat Pilates experience is useful to mention, but you still need to learn the carriage and settings. Tell the teacher where you are starting from.

Does this session fit my schedule?

Check the language, times and booking conditions. A suitable class is also one you can arrive at with enough time to settle in.
